Whole or crushed barley grains are used in the preparation of concentrated diets for livestock and birds, especially cattle. Because it contributes to increasing the secretion of milk and the rapid fattening of livestock, and it should be noted that the nutritional value of barley grains is equivalent to about (90)% of the nutritional value of maize grains, and the bran and by-products of grinding are used in animal feeding, and straw is used in animal feeding.
